    Al Rashid reviews relations with the U.S. consul
     
    More than 30,000 Saudi students pursuing their higher education in the U.S

     


    Asharqia Chamber chairman Mr.Abdulrahman Al Rashid reviews  the economic relations between the Kingdom and the United States on Monday, August 9, 2010  during his meeting with U.S. General Consul Joseph Kenny at the chamber  headquarter in Dammam.

     
     

    Al Rashid discussed with Kenny, who visited the chamber at the end of the period in the Kingdom of the various ways and means to improve bilateral relations between the two countries in addition to hosting exhibitions, the most prominent education exhibitions ,they have also talked about the strong relationship which brings the two countries and the  economic compromise which is increasing.

     

    Kenny focused on the Saudi-US relationsin various economic sectors, particularly in the oil and gas fields and highlighted the strong historical ties between the Kingdom and the U.S. 

     
     Moreover, Kenny pointed to the initiatives undertaken by the Consulate with the Chamber to improve economic relations between the two countries, which resulted in a significant improvement in visa services .
    Kenney said that the number of Saudi students studying in the U.S has increased significantly, where currently has more than 30,000 Saudi students pursuing their higher education at the U.S universities in various educational institutions under the King scholarship program and scholarship programs of (SABIC) and Saudi Aramco
